My husband and I didn’t think we could afford a house and Jackie reassured us that nothing was impossible; getting a house was attainable. She was honest about the process, she listened to our needs, was patient as we worked on getting our credit where it needed to be. You really do become like family with Jackie. She doesn’t stop being your realtor. She always reaches out about milestones, sends congratulations on accomplishments. Jackie Feagin & Associates deserve 10 stars!We were looking for an affordable home in the hot Hampton Roads real estate market. We had only two months after receiving military orders before reporting for duty at our new duty station. Moving from NC to VA was proving to be difficult when most of the properties we were interested in were going under contract within 24-48 hours after listing, and before we even had a chance to get there to view them.We had reached out to Jackie well in advance, based on a recommendation from another military family. We chose Jackie for her local and military knowledge, as well as her attention to detail. We appreciate frequent communication and Jackie delivered. She let us know what to expect during the home buying process and was very responsive. She listened to our needs and budget, and recommended a lender to assist us in our veteran home loan endeavor. We anticipated obstacles and delays with affordable homes going quickly, but Jackie was on top of it the whole time and was able to fit us in expediently. We never would have imagined in this market being able to view a home within 24 hours after it came on the market, deciding that was the one for us, making an offer which was one of eight offers in less than three days, and having our offer being the chosen one! Jackie was great to work with and answered every question. We closed in four weeks. Jackie stayed in touch with us throughout every step of the process.Even now, after being in our home for two months, Jackie is still a valuable connection, sharing recommendations for contractors to help us with some home renovation projects on the horizon. As a first time home buyer Ms. Jackie took us under her wing and lead the way for us. She was very professional and knowledgeable about everything and knows a lot people. She was there for us at anytime of the day and always had an answer for us. She kept us calm throughout the whole process and we never had anything to worry about because she always handles her business to make sure we were good. Jackie is one of a kind in her field. This is the third time I've worked with her and she went above and beyond to help us get our dream home. She worked behind the scenes when we didn't even realize she was working her magic until later. We were outbid but she remained diligent and stayed on top of the home we wanted and when the first buyer's financing fell through, we were able to get our home after all. Further, she worked hard and stayed on top of every step to help me stay on task and didn't let me drop the ball with the things I needed to do. She even made things right that were not her fault. She is one of the best and that is why I have continued to work with her over the past 10 years.

I’ve used Jackie before on the purchase of my first house. March of 2017 I closed on my house for 147k, didn’t pay any closing costs. Less than three years later, she sold that house for 165k in less than 5 days (market for my neighborhood averaged 60-75 days) I didn’t pay any closing costs. After almost a month of looking and researching homes together I found my dream home that I am absolutely ecstatic about. Let me break some things down that she was more than happy to do.- allow me extra time to FaceTime my girlfriend who was out of town for each house and walk through with her- Visit the same home multiple times, Suffolk, oceanfront, any area, it didn’t matter.- Get SAME DAY appointments almost every single time.- Collaborate with my mortgage loan officer and keep all parties.- Ensure all parties had the required paperwork, even if it wasn’t her responsibility.-Provide amazing references that I wouldn’t even know where to start looking(home inspector, homeowners insurance agent, photographer for my home) something like that just comes from being in the business for 20 years in this location.The house I purchased was sold for 420k in 2008 (after the market crashed) and I bought it 386k in 2020 with a whole home generator, brand new oversized AC/Heater, pool, upgraded/futuristic appliances, a dehumidifier for the crawl space along with a moisture barrier and sand grade(never have to worry about that). They also agreed to perform all repairs listed on my home inspection report.I highly recommend Jackie !
